The Growth Voucher Programme is a pilot to facilitate and encourage businesses with growth plans to access advice. There are certain criteria but basically it means that the Government will cover 50% of any strategic advice sought by a business. Advisers go through an approval process and ‘Cornmill Associates’ is now approved to provide accredited advice on Financial matters. Under ‘Finance’ the accepted subjects for advice include improving cashflow management, credit control, forecasting techniques etc – things that will be valuable in a growth scenario and to improve controls. Most accountants can of course offer this advice also. Our particular strong areas will be in negotiating with banks, raising new finance or securing new investors.
